Only available in Key C, the Big River Harp is a budget-priced instrument but is manufactured in the Hohner German Factory which makes its better known brothers.

It has a plastic body, but a good clear tone and is presented in a well-designed heavy duty plastic box and is ideally priced for beginners at £19.99

In the diagram above the key note C is shown as starting on holes 1, 4, 7, and 10.

In cross harp style you can also get the key of G by starting on holes 3, 6 and 9. So with a C harp  you can also play blues in G.

This works because In  a blues scale you do not need the seventh note to be sharpened as in a conventional major scale.
